I chose to review this timepiece not only because it aligns with my personal preferences, but also because it boasts an artistic name – “Dark Side of The Moon” – which is beautifully reflected in its all-black appearance.
The replica Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of The Moon showcases a PVD black finished case, crafted from 316 stainless steel, with a case diameter of 42.5mm and a thickness of 14mm. The black ceramic Tachymeter bezel features white printings, adding a stylish touch. The black dial is protected by an arch-shaped sapphire crystal, and its layout design is both refined and elegant. Positioned at 3 and 9 o’clock, two subdials enhance readability. The black dial presents all printings and markers in white, ensuring optimal visibility. The subdial at 3 o’clock is dedicated to 24-hour display, while the small dial at 9 o’clock functions as a 60-minute chronograph hand, rather than for seconds. Both the stick hour markers and hands are coated with lume material, providing a strong green luminescent glow during nighttime.
The black nylon strap of the replica watch is equipped with a PVD black finished normal pin buckle. The front side of the band is constructed from nylon, while the inner part is made of black leather, ensuring a comfortable wearing experience. The solid case back displays the “DARK SIDE OF THE MOON” printing in white, accompanied by a prominently curved Seamaster logo in the central area.
